Chiodini or beech mushroom grows in Autumn, clustered in little groups in and around the bottom of both broadleaf and conifer trees. It has a firm, slightly crunchy texture and a nutty flavor. Eat them right out of the tin or add to pasta, salads or on top of your favorite steak
